What to Expect at Your First Reading
Almost everyone who sits down with me for the first time is a little nervous. They are not sure whether to speak first. They are not sure how much to say. And a good number of them have been told, somewhere along the way, that a reading is something to be frightened of. So let me take the mystery out of the part that should not be mysterious.
You do not have to tell me anything
You can, and most people end up doing it. But you do not have to arrive with your story prepared. I would rather you say very little at the start — it is cleaner that way, for both of us.
It takes about an hour
Some readings are shorter. If you came with one clear question and the answer arrives in twenty minutes, I am not going to stretch it to fill an hour. You will never pay me for time you did not need.
I will not frighten you
This is the part I care most about. There are readers who will tell you that something dark is attached to you and that only they can remove it — for a price, and then another price. That is not a reading. That is a business model, and it has done real harm to people who were already hurting.
I will tell you what I see, including when it is hard. I will not invent a curse to sell you a cure.
What I actually help with
Love and the people in it. Work and whether to stay. Grief that will not lift. Decisions you have been circling for months. And the heaviness that has no name — the one people describe as something feels wrong and I do not know what. That last one is the cleansing work, and it is most of what I do.
Afterwards
Some people leave with a decision. Some leave lighter without being able to say why. Some come back years later at the next turn. All three are fine.
And if you leave without the clarity you came for, tell me. I guarantee my work, and I have been able to say that for more than forty years.
